Is black nail polish appropriate for work?
Black nail polish has won its way into our hearts and beauty drawers, but they may not be as welcome at your job. If your job requires that you dress business professional on a daily basis, then the answer is firmly no. Business casual environments may be more accepting of this, but you will know best, your office environment, and if this is acceptable. Hairstylist, make up artists, and other creative jobs get a full pass, not just with black but on all non pink or French mani nails

No, I do not think so, that black is appropriate. Any types of light color is good for work place. I am using light pink color and I think it is better.

Yes, I believe black is appropriate. I work in a rather conservative field and I see ladies wearing black polish with just about any color or outfit. As long as your nails are properly manicured and there are no obvious chips, I don’t see any harm. I think it’s a nice departure from neutrals and I adore my neutrals, but I look at black as a neutral color for nails now. I work around a lot of stuff men, but they love to see me coming to a meeting to see what color nails I’ll have next! I think it brightens up their day!
