Would you spend $1625 on this Balmain Shirt?

Military inspired wear is hot for this season, and Balmain is like one of the generals in the movement. I am all on it, I love the ruggedness of army green and khaki colors on dresses and rompers. But this One Thousand Six Hundred and Twenty Five Dollar holeyslashed army T-shirt is just plain crazy! (Yes, I had to spell out the price, because I feel like I am writing a check to even look at the shirt) I usually don’t judge an item for it’s price or those who buy expensive things, but I am going to question the sanity of anyone who drops that much money on a Tshirt. A plain ‘ol 100% cotton green Tshirt with holes in it.  At least if it was a dress (or even long enough to be belted) I could say you’re 75% dressed, but you still have to pair pants and shoes with this at a minimum.

I’m actually pissed that Balmain thinks this is worth that much. The shirt looks like it belongs to a Balmain designer collaboration for Target. Whatever happened to artistry in clothing? My two year old neice could make that, and so could you. Get a green T-shirt, scissors and get creative!

Funny Fact: When I was typing the title of this post, I forgot the R in shirt. Freudian slip?
