Letter from the Editor

Hello September! Good bye August! Another month gone. August was full of blessings for me and I hope the same for you. We launched a new website with about 5 different headers, I successfully completed my $20/wk challenge and got some pretty good stuff. In addition to all of that we picked up more readers. Welcome! (BTW, please subscribe vs bookmarking the site, it will allow you to receive updates more frequently).

The end of August usually signifies the end of summer. Kids go back to school, leaves change, and you start seeing Fall collections hit the shelves. I am super excited, because I love boots and scarves. Although technically since I live in FL and it is still 98 degrees outside I can’t wear them yet, I am still excited to see them and also see the summer clothes go on sale.

So, in welcoming September and saying adios to Summer I have come up with a to do list that honor both. Here goes:

  1. Wear white – AFTER labor day ( I don’t get this rule, I love a winter white)
  2. Paint nails in a summer color
  3. Have a snow day – I know I’m in FL but I am going to make a bowl of some comfort food and curl up on the sofa and watch movies all day
  4. Buy a fall accessory
  5. Revamp your skin routine – fall weather changes may cause a different reaction in your skin.
  6. Take a yoga class – September is yoga month
  7. Eat dessert first
  8. Wear blue eyeshadow (even if only in the house)
  9. Find a fall fragrance
  10. Wear a summer dress (no, I’m not trying to freeze you – get creative pair it with boots or a leather jacket)
